 Verified More than just a safari
In the summer of 2025 we went on a tour in Tanzania (deep into the Serengeti, including the Big Migration). We had the honour and privilege of being escorted by Hashim. There are a number of things you need to know about Hashim:). 1) He is one of the most capable drivers we have ever met on our travels, both in terms of safety and skill. Due to his many years of experience, he knows the roads like the back of his hand (every tiny bump) and reads traffic very well (just one example: despite the many -and we mean many! - waiting vehicles at the river crossing, he managed to get us front seat positions to watch the wildebeest cross. 2) We believe he is one of Tanzania’s more knowledgeable and experienced tour guides thanks to his high-ranking role as a supervisor in the ranger community and his extensive background knowledge on wildlife via his education and scientific research. His network is impressive, as is his love for and dedication to animals and animal welfare. We were moved by the stories he told about migrating flamingos (due to pollution) and disturbed lion habitats at Ngorongoro (due to real estate projects and climate change). These extra stories (and many more) turned the holidays into a lived experience that goes far beyond ticking off the Big Five (which we did see, as no stone was left unturned😊). 3) He is also a genuinely nice guy, who possesses the great skill of being present and ready to help without being imposing. Highly recommended, you won’t regret it!

Hashim een een geweldige guide en host. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je maximaal de kans krijgt om de dieren te zien en weeter veel over te vertellen. Wij (samen met een vriendin deze reis gemaakt) hebben tarangire, serengetti en ngorongoro bezocht en ongelofelijk veel wild kunnen observeren/ spotten. Het was een geweldige reis die ik direct over zou doen met Hashim als gids. Aanrader!

We had the most amazing time travelling through Tanzania with the best guide ever! Hashim, the owner of te company, made sure we made the most of our trip. His experience and knowledge about the nature and its wildlife contributed enormously to the entire experience. He was kind, patient and made sure everything went perfect and smoothly. We had an amazing trip with Off2TanzaniaSafaris! Hashim was our fantastic guide for 7 days. Thanks to his background in biological research, he knew exactly where to go for the best wildlife sightings and had so much interesting information to share. He goes above and beyond to give you a fantastic experience and great value for money. We always felt safe and stayed in comfortable accommodations at the level we agreed on (or even better!), and the destinations were tailored to our wishes. Would definitely recommend!!

We had an amazing experience with Off2tanzania safaris. We could not have wished for a better and more helpfull guide. Our guide did anything to help us complete the big five and all other animals that were on our wishlist to see. Our itinerary was perfectly balanced between game drives and some easier days, and after that we ended the holiday on Zanzibar. All accomodations were perfectly organized and all of them were in beautiful surroundings. I could not recommend Off2Tanzania safaris more! Hashim showed us the real Tanzania! From wildlife & the beautiful parks till the Masai. Really enjoyed his stories and guidance. He is a very knowledgeble guy with scientific background so we learned a lot about the lions he preferes to observe and had the greatest wildlife sights thanks to his knowledge of their behavior.  Verified Rich and Relaxed adventure in Tanzania
We had a fantastic adventure in Tanzania with our family of four together with Hashim. He is a very good and experienced guide with a great network in Tanzania and was able to show us many of Tanzania's wonders and wildlife. We were very lucky to have seen so many animals. Due to his experience he could also explain a lot about them, which enriched our experience. He is very client-oriented and made all efforts to accommodate our wishes and give us a great trip. He combines accommodating our wishes with his recommendations based on experience. The driving with him also felt very safe. Our kids said that they certainly wanted to come back to Tanzania again, but then only with Hashim as our guide!
